ETHICA
The name of the product embodies our Eco-sustainability project:
- Eco-sustainability of the raw material
- Eco-sustainability of dyes
- Eco-sustainability of the packaging material
IL FILATO BIO-BASED
Ethica products are made with BIO-BASED yarn, with a renewable carbon content obtained from “Ricinus Communis” castor seeds.
From the seeds you get the castor oil used for the creation of the polymer.
- Ultra-light, super stretch yarn
- Highly breathable, it dries quickly
- It offers thermic properties and is odor-free
The characteristics of the shrub:
- It usually grows in arid non arable areas of the planet.
- It is requires very little water.
- It does not take away cultivation space for food purposes.
- It is not GMO.

All ETHICA products are dyed with METAL-FREE dyes.
IL PACKAGING
Particular attention was also paid to the materials used for the packaging, choosing a special paper produced with algae present in excess on the bottom of the Venice lagoon and with 50% of FSC cellulose, from controlled forests.
The use of algae allows both to preserve the sea of the lagoon, keeping it clean, and to replace a part of the cellulose coming from trees with a natural alternative resource.
The transparent bag that protects the product is eco-sustainable because it is made with over 80% of vegetable starches that make it biodegradable and compostable.
